How much is tuition?

A 90 min. group lesson is 3,880 yen and a 90 min. Private Lesson is from 7,030 yen - 7,560 yen.

Do you have an intensive course?

Yes we have Intensive Courses. One, two and four weeks courses are available.

Do you have JLPT preparation course?

Yes, we have. As group courses, 3 type of courses are available.
Private Lesson, Intensive Coursesare also available for JLPT preparation.

When are group classes held?

Classes are held between 8:00 am and 9:30 pm from Monday to Friday and between 10:15 am and 4:45 pm on Saturday. One class is 90 min. We have twice a week and three times a week courses. The days, times, and frequency (i.e. number of days per week) of individual classes are fixed during those hours.

How long are the course?

A twice-a-week Beginner's Course runs for 4 and a half months, while a three-times-a-week Beginner's Course takes 3 months to complete. →Group Courses

Do you have one-month group course?

No, but we have a 4-week Intensive Courses (private).

Can I take a free trial lesson?

Yes, but please have your level checked first. → Procedure
(No free trial lesson is offered for courses less than 8 lessons.)

Can I observe a class?

Are the teachers qualified?

Our teachers have all graduated from a standardized, 420-hour Japanese teaching program and also have taken 6-months of MLC’s own in-house teaching program.

Can I select my own textbook?

If you take private lessons, you can choose your own materials.

Are intensive courses group lessons?

No, but if you have somebody to study with you, the two of you can together. → Intensive Courses

What is the difference between a "private lesson" and an "intensive lesson"?

In the Intensive Courses, your schedule is fixed and you are required to take 3 or 5 lessons per week. Regular Private Lesson has a flexibility. You can cancel and reschedule your lesson.

Does MLC dispatch teachers to students' homes and offices?

Do you accept credit cards?

No, we only accept payments in cash or by bank transfer.

Do you have any discount?

Yes. we have "bring a friend discount".

Do you provide student visas?

We are a kind of 2, 3, or 5 lessons/week based part-time school. Therefore we can not be a sponsor for the student visas.

Is Wi-fi available in MLC?

Yes, you can use Wi-fi for free in MLC.
